How to Network

WIL's workshop programme for the August-October block finished with Deborah Valentine, an English language copywriter whose multiple roles and international background have given her valuable knowledge on how to network. During the workshop, she stimulated WIL members to think about important aspects of networking, giving tips and tricks to overcome networking fears. Through entertaining and inspirational anecdotes about being an international, professional women, Deborah shared her advice regarding how to build yourself a consistent vision and reputation, how to give back and benefit from networking opportunities, and how to contact professionals, both in person and online. WIL members left the workshop confident about growing their own professional network.
