About The Event
For a lot of women, taking birth control pills is as much part of their daily routine as eating. It has maybe even become so normal, that we tend to forget to think about what it actually does with our physical and mental health. In this event we will address some of the truths and myths about anticonception.
Introducing our speaker, Alexandra Mandroiu: Passionate Public Health professional with work and research experience at the intersection of SRHR, community empowerment and sustainable development. I hold a BSc in Global Public Health, a research Masters in Global Health and I am currently pursuing a second MSc degree in Healthcare Policy, Innovation and Management at Maastricht University. I have worked as an SRHR advisor for the KIT in Amsterdam and hope to continue my work in the field in the area of health systems strengthening with a focus on SRH service delivery.
