About The Event

Have you ever been rejected from your dream job? Totally bombed an interview? Not gotten that incredible internship precisely in your field of interest? Failed an assignment that you worked so very hard on? Stumbled your way through that life changing pitch with potential investors? We all experience failure. But do we have to? Can we learn to avoid it? Or is it a necessary part of growth? Failure can be a learning process, but the fear of it can also prevent us from taking on new challenges. Not letting this fear hold us back is often easier said than done. Especially when living in a time where everyone seems to be in the process of making the world a better place on social media. This causes many of us to feel alone in our failures and might portray a skewed image of how success is actually achieved. In this talk, we aim to shed a new light on the importance of failing and on the narrative surrounding success.
