About The Event
Lieke Scheewe coordinates the Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD). This network promotes disability inclusion within the sector of international development and humanitarian aid. Based on personal and professional experience with disability, she works on influencing foreign policy on behalf of the DCDD network, while at the same time providing practical guidance for organisations and policy makers on how to take real steps towards inclusion. She graduated with a double MA from Utrecht University and the UN-mandated University for Peace in the areas of Conflict Studies, Human Rights and Peace Education.
