About The Event
If you are not well inside, it doesn’t matter how good your external environment is. Everyone wants to be happy, but happiness is an emotion, and thus impermanent. It’s more important to acknowledge we are having a bad moment and find strategies to bring ourselves up again than feeling bad about ourselves because we can’t cope with our mental health. Mental health should be looked at the same way we look at eating or sleeping: it should be a daily practice. We will look at different strategies to maintain the balance in life: meditation, journaling, walking in nature, and even ikigai.

This workshop is led by Mariana Kobayashi. She is 23-years old and from Portugal. She graduated with a double business degree from Catolica Lisbon and Grenoble École de Management. After struggling with her mental health in the past, she has decided to put her experience into a short book and share some tips with people going through similar issues. She has organised events surrounding mental health and currently is a Talent Architect intern, helps people with jobs search through content creation, and is launching her own career coaching business.
