This workshop by Kruthi Devarakonda will focus on the idea of resilience. It will teach the participants that resilience is not something people either have or don’t, but something that can be learned by reflecting on the lessons from our past. Resilience is a mindset. The participants will be encouraged to identify their own struggles and make a plan for how to bounce back and create a more positive, healthy, and resilient mindset.

Kruthi Devarakonda is a clinical psychologist who started her own practice, Wishful Therapy, after providing free therapeutic services in India at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research background focuses on resilience on an individual and societal level. She has experience working in therapeutic settings across Malaysia, India, Oman, and the Netherlands. Her goal is to empower people to seek growth even in their most difficult times, with a focus on refugees, migrants, minority populations, and expats. Her workshops provide a unique opportunity to explore creativity within the framework of mental health.
