About The Event

What do statistics and data science have to do with Women, Innovation and Leadership? In this workshop we will discuss how critical thinking with numbers can help you in your future careers. The workshop will not be centered around math-heavy concepts, instead, it focuses on some central areas in statistics and data science that help you develop your critical thinking skills with numbers. We will discuss statistics/ data science, the statistical process, and finish with talking about data visualisation and statistical communication.

Our speaker, Victoria graduated from LUC in 2018 and decided to pursue masters in statistical science. Having worked in ICT and education and interned at Statistics Netherlands, she’s now preparing to become a quality officer. Her passions are applying statistics and data science solutions to problems, and thinking about ways data can make our lives better.

Remember to RSVP to receive the link to the workshop 30 minutes prior to start.
