WIL Talk: Passion, Purpose & Paychecks

What do you want to be when you grow up? We all want to do something we love, something we are passionate about. We are all looking for our purpose. Why are we here and what are we supposed to be doing? However, we also want to be able to pay the bills, to not have to be too worried about money. A big concern for people, especially students, when thinking about the future is how to combine these factors. In this talk, we aim to discuss whether it is realistic to combine passion, purpose and paychecks in one job or if these goals should be split up. Are they all as necessary for a full and happy life as we think they are? Furthermore, there will be a focus on how to pursue one’s passion and how to find your purpose.
