MEET OUR TEAM
Caterina Zamparini
My name is Caterina and I’m thrilled to be part of the Innovation Team at WIL. I am a second year MSc Student in International Relations and Diplomacy at Leiden University. As a young woman studying IR, I know how hard it is for women’s voices to be equally represented and for our rights to be thoroughly respected…even in the most advanced of countries!
I am very passionate about topics of gender equality and advancing women’s rights, especially in Europe: I think there is still much work to be done and I am determined to contribute to a better world!
In my free time, I love to be surrounded by people or by nature - immerse myself in a book or write.
I am super excited to work with the Innovation Team to organize events to discuss pressing issues, meet like-minded people and connect with the professional world, especially with inspiring speakers and guests! I’m looking forward to meeting you at our events!

Being a WIL Member and Board Member has helped me grow so much in such a short amount of time. I cultivated and furthered my leadership, teamwork and event management skills. But most importantly, I was able to grow my network and work with some incredibly inspirational people. I feel more confident and supported due to this community of strong women.

Being a WIL Member has allowed me to get to know like-minded young women with a variety of skill sets outside my immediate vicinity. As a part of the Teams and Board, I have gained work experience in marketing and event management, enabling me to network with more ease and self-confidence. Furthermore, my Mentor encouraged me to become a more compassionate and effective leader.
